This site seeks to inform students, teachers, families, and interested parties about the Pearl City Complex Acceptable Use Policy. It also provides learning resources for Internet use.
The Department of Education (DOE) Internet services are designed for DOE K-12 students and employees in support of instruction. The DOE Internet Access Policy refers to all resources and systems that are available through the DOE networks. These systems include a variety of DOE Internet and Intranet services including Lotus Notes and Internet conferencing. Employees access the Internet or electronic mail systems to complete and enhance their job responsibilities. Every school will have an Internet Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). The Department of Education cannot guarantee that inappropriate materials will not be accessed. (State of Hawaii, Department of Education Internet Access Policy No. 2170.1)
